The dictionary defines pagan as either non-religious, or non monotheistic. Most commonly, however, pagan is used to describe something or someone as non-religous, non-Christian, or man-made (such as a man-made belief/tradition/doctrine).

An agnostic is someone who either believes in a supernatural being (or God) but this being has no power, control or influence over the person's life (or life in general); or it can be someone who does not believe that there is an intelligent being who made all things and influences life. (or an atheist, if you will)

A non-believer is similar to an agnostic/atheist, but may have been acquainted with or was a part of a religion that no longer believes. (or an apostate, if you will)

Hope that helps :)

also to answer theist:

A theist is one who believes that there is a higher being, but does not believe the supernatural factors in religion. Some agnostics could be considered a theist. I suppose there are two forms of agnostics....

We might need a chart... lol

Pagan is a term used by Christians to identify anyone who is not a fellow Christian. That would mean Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and even some people categorize Judaism as a pagan religion.

Agnostic is the believe in a higher power. They might or might not be sure what that higher power is, but they believe there is one.

Non-believer could be anything. I could be a non-believer if I did not believe in Buddha, just as someone who doesn't believe in Christ can be a non-believer.

An atheist, on the other hand, believes that there is no higher power.

Hope this helps!

Agnostic-a person who holds that the existence of the ultimate cause, as God, and the essential nature of things are unknown and unknowable, or that human knowledge is limited to experience.
Pagan-one of a people or community observing a polytheistic religion, as the ancient Romans and Greeks.
Non believer-a person who lacks belief or faith, as in God, a religion, an idea, or an undertaking.

A Pagan is a broad term meaning anyone who believes in any of the more ancient, often polytheistic religions. In middle-ages christian terms, it was used to refer to any non-christian.

Agnostic means that the person is not willing to side one way or the other and is waiting for more proof.

A non-believer, I assume you mean atheist, does not believe in any form of higher power.

Pagan: a follower of a faith that is none of the three major ones.

Agnostic: a person who believes that it is either impossible, unnecessary or irrelevant to determine whether there is a god.

Non-believer: a person who doesn't believe in any form of superior godly being.

Contrary to the people who don't seem to understand what non-believer means... it's atheist. Which means THEY DON'T BELIEVE IN ANY GOD AT ALL.

Someone posted the definition of these words. I suggest you read the links provided. Unfortunately, some people are so uninformed on YA that they're giving you the wrong definitions.
