I'd totally get it!
Every child would be so excited to get "something" in the mail... & especially from Santa!!
I was never so lucky to get something like that but my 2 nieces & nephew did. My oldest niece is turning 16 next year & she still has it! & I can remember them getting it in the mail too! Man they were excited!
But go for it! What would it hurt? Im sure the kiddies would love it though. ;)

If it a letter from Santa, what I do is have the child write a letter to Santa. Then I take it to the Post Office which is actually in the Bedroom and write them a reply letter stating Santa got their letter and mention the things on their list, I address it to them and put the appropriate postage. Then I put the letter into another envelope and Address it to the Postmaster in North Pole, Alaska with a letter telling him what happening and to re-mail those letters. They have always done this when I sent them and it come to the child Postmarked North Pole, AK. and it a pretty postmark too. I always show the child the postmark so they know their letter came from Santa. Though there is a little Skepticism at times and they ask; "How you do that"? ;-)
To the Postmaster at North Pole, if, you read this, I hope I not get you overwhelmed with Santa letters to mail. Thanks in advance. ;-D
Close to Christmas you can get your child on the Internet and NORAD Tracks Santa to show where he is at that time. They do this so when Santa fly over hostile areas they can send Fighter Jets to escort and protect Santa.

I got one when I was 5 and I still have it! It's a great idea! But you could do it much cheaper than that. Just buy some beautiful stationary, write your letter and then send it to your child through the mail...
We have a friend call our kids every year near christmas who is "Santa". The kids think it's great!

Yes these are ace, I ordered one for my little one last year, it came with a choc coin, magic reindeer food(oats/glitter). Went down a storm i know ur probably a bit dubvious(not sure if this is spelt rite). with it coming off the net. I have heard that if you right a letter to the royal mail with a certain postcode the royal mail will right back to you, i think the postcode is SANTA1, but if you do this I would check with the royal mail first. HOPE YOU HAVE A HAPPY XMAS!!

I wouldnt buy it - our boys put their letters to Santa in the fireplace and the elves collect it and deliver it to Santa. Several days later, Santa usually leaves a reply letter in the fireplace for the boys to find. Costs nothing and completely personal for the child/ren concerned. It only takes a gold or silver pen and swirly writing and a little imagination.

I have never boughten one, but certainly we have created beautiful letters from Santa on the computer for the kids. Why buy it? You can really personalize it knowing exactly what has brought for them. My parents used to get one of our neighbors to hand write us a letter every year. Very simple, just on note paper. A friend of mine has her cousin write one every year for her child. If someone asked me to, I would do one for free. :)
