I joined the Guard and was encouraged to use MyPay. What is the website? Is it Mypay.com? If it is, where do I go from there to access my account or to set up one?

You'll have to have your SS# and set up a pin. I believe the process has changed in getting the pin. Back when we started using it, you had to have your pin issued through the unit finance, then you logged on and changed it to what you wanted. The pin is a 5 digit number. The entire process and steps needed are on the web site. I'm so glad they created MyPay because I never have any more questions or doubts about finances. Before, when he was gone, I never knew how much he made because the hard copy of the LES went where he was. Now, I can check around the 20th and know what our EOM pay is. We only get paid monthly, but mid-month is usually available around the 10th for your LES.

mypay.dfas.mil

It will ask for your SSN and will have you set up a pin. You can also sign up at your local finance office if you need assistance.

They're making it so this is pretty much the only way to view your paystubs and w2 info, so make sure you get on there as soon as you can. Your LES (leave and earning statement) will usually show up a few days before the deposit it set to hit your bank account. You can also set up deductions, tax info, Thrift Savings Plan there as well.

Congrats and good luck.

You then need to get a PIN number and you'll be all set, pretty easy.

It can all be done online at the above site
