This is an mmigration question isn't it? Illegal Immigrants are from many countries, and most LEGAl immigrants are from Mexico, like me.

Will you erase this too?

Can't you anti-Mexicans debate as Civilizated persons?
What's wrong with you?

Well, to be fair, the majority of immigrants overall are from mexico. The majority of legal immigrants are from mexico (20%) ,then are usually from India, China and the Phillipines (6% each) and over 50% of the undocumented immigrants are from mexico as well. (then other latin american countries, then students who overstay their visas, then refugees)

Because you own businesses in the US and are already a tax payer, you probably have a good chance of becoming a dual citizen. All you need to do is apply for american citizenship. Though it's a lengthy process, it's easier than the process of many other countries, and with legal help can be much less painful than normal.

The US doesn't require people to revoke thier citizenship from other countries, and i believe there have already been agreements from Mexico that allows mexican citizens to be dual citizens.

So really, i would advise you to obtain an immigration lawyer for the process.

Good luck

Hey, it isn't us. I'm getting violation notices all over the place, and I'm anti-illegal (NOT anti-Mexican.)

You should be able to get residency under the 'investor' category, check it out on the immigration service web page. Residency for some years (5-7) is required before you can take a test for citizenship. As to 'dual', we frown on that (who do you fight for in case of war?) however, we don't take away your citizenship from anywhere else, so it is up to that country if they consider you a dual citizen. I believe Mexico is ok with that.

Oh, as to what people above are saying, you do have to 'renounce your loyalty to foreign princes' if you take full citizenship (as opposed to residency). However, it is up to Mexico whether saying that makes you no longer a Mexican citizen.

I'm having a tough time deciphering your question, but this is what I know:
If you are born in the U.S. it is possible for another country to grant you citizenship - you would then have dual citizenship.
The United States does not recognize dual citizenship. You have to "give up" your citizenship elsewhere to be a new U.S. citizen.
Canada allows this.

First off, which country are you currently a citizen of? Then, apply to the other country requesting dual citizenship. A friend of mine has dual citizenship with the US and Ireland. Of course, he was a US citizen first and HAD to prove he had family connections in Ireland.

The U.S. Government does not recognize dual citizenship. You are either a citizen of the United States or you are not.

how can one be civilized to people like you who are illegal? Is it civilized to come to my country and take benifits that is not yours yet i have to pay for it? Is it ok for middle class like myself to become lower class because jobs are taken or maybe you can justify for me please why cant i afford health insuranse but you get free health services. So in a way its kind of odd im paying for people who dont belong here in health benifits yet i cant get my own? I understand what your people are trying to do its not your intention to destroy the united states your just trying to make a buck live a decent life right? I understand that, but the fact of the matter is when people come here illegally and take the economy of the united states into there own and deplete the middle class and get all sorts of perks such as welfare free medical and jobs that americans do want to work then i have little to no respect because what they have decided to do is really ruin our way of living
