Instead of just answering the question and being helpful, some of you people cant help being smug and unhelpful..... Your not smart, those of you that have racked up millions of points answering questions with your pointless smugness, your losers..... If you have nothing of use to say, your not welcome to answer my questions..... Do one!

I agree some questions are fun, and meant to have a funny answer, but if its a serious question you dont deserve to be patronised or spoken to like your DUMB its RUDE!

I agree. My first ever question, that I genuinely didn't know the answer to, was largely answered by really inane sounding people, calling me a moron; how educated...
They left these smug comments, which other peoples answers proved way wrong. Some people don't seem to realise that there are many different schools of thought about a variety of subjects. I have to say though, the majority of answerers are really helpful and interesting; on a few occasions they have really touched my heart, giving me a massive positive experience of the web. Block out the dimwits; they usually ask stupid questions which are beneath a decent response anyway...

I agree with you 100%.You have to remember that there is rude and dumb people all over this world.Not everyone is gonna think that a serious question to you is serious to them,so they will give smug replys.Just like this question,I think it`s a good question and I agree with you 100% but can you imagine how many others is reading your question and saying what the hell is wrong with this person posting such a nonsence question.Some will just leave the question alone while others just have to have that 2 points and say rude stuff.

it's true what you say Bonbon! However, If you ask a question on here be prepared to get some dumb answers from people who have nothing better to do than think up a stupid or funny response. Just sift through the dross and you may find someone with a reasonable answer to your question there are many other people on here who try to help!

But some questions need a little explanation or back ground descpition before actual answer. In such cases direct or simple answer wont be sufficient oe may not clear the reply.

So if someone posed the Q 'How do I kill my cat?' - how would you answer it? I know it can be ignored and not answered, but they deserve to be reported or criticised for asking the question at least !!
I try to help out as much as I can but at times when people ask inane Q's, I either ignore them or answer sarcastically !! I know where you are coming from though and I appreciate it.

you tell it like it is bonbon! well done mate for stating the obvious. there are certain people who just take the piss, rather than do what they're supposed to do and that's to answer the question. instead, they resort to being rude and nasty with their answers.
i wouldn't waste my time with these idiots anyway.

Personally I do answer the questions, unless someone is asking a dumb question (not very often!)
