That depends on your hair type. Some shampoos are made with a good moisturizer for dry hair. Some are designed for oily hair. Some shampoos also deal with relaxed, permed and/or color treated hair. Personally, I like Paul Mitchell's shampoo. Other people will prefer Nexxus, Pantene, Suave, Loreal, Garnier Fructis, VO5, Mane N Tail.....There are a lot of good quality shampoos on the market for everybody's hair--browse the products in the store reading their description and choose the one that you believe will work for you, and it will benefit you to get the matching conditioner too but it's not absolutely necessary.

It depends on what type of shampoo you are looking for, what type of hair you have and how much you want to spend. Personally, I use three different shampoos. I alternate between paul mitchell tea trea oil shampoo (for dry scalp - it works better than any of the other crap for dry scalp), catwalk (just because it smells really really good), and suave daily clarifying (to remove buildup from products and other shampoos). I really like biolage but it's too heavy for my hair. Bath and Body Works also has a good line of shampoos. Happy hunting.

It's not so much a better shampoo. I was told by hair dresser to change it up from time to time. Once a shampoo has done what it can for your hair, they say it stops working, but I change my shampoo after every bottle.

I'd say use Jhirmack. It used to be one of the "high end" shampoos but then it went to a larger market or you might say it became more affordable. It's always been a very nice shampoo and I find that it leaves my hair super shiny.

Pantene. The only reason it's said to be bad for you is because salons want you to buy their garbage that doesn't work, they'd rather be making a profit, and trust me I've tried their garbage, and it didn't work :-).
My mom has been using Pantene Complete Moisture shampoo and conditioner for years and her colored hair looks better than my uncolored hair. People say it adds buildup...No I don't think so, because I've used it from time to time and my hair never looked healthier...I just can't afford it, but it's worth the price.

Panteine is the best shampoo. It really repairs damaged hair. I use nothing else. I have tried others but the Pantiene works best.

I use Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo since it has that great green-apple smell.
