How to control my jelousy? If too much jelous, does it mean you love some one so much or selfish?

Jealousy is a self esteem issue.

I had women break me from that several years ago. She basically told me, "If you are treating me the way I am suppose to be treated, I should be able to be around a thousand men and remember who my man is." In other words, the issue was mine.

I try to leave no doubt in my mind about how I treat a women. I am comfortable with my women having male or lesbian friends. Treat em right and there is less of a chance they will forget where home is. The confidence I have in myself is, she will break up with me for reasons other then cheating. That has been true now for quit some time.

sometimes it's hard to do, and yea sometimes it is cause you love some to much,but you have to learn to let go because that will ruin the relationship if u really want to make it work, and the other part may or may not be selfishness, it could also be a controling thing.

I don't think it's either or. It is more likely that you don't trust that person and are insecure. But is it probably not your partner (unless he/she already cheated), more you. You need to figure out why you are so jealous and find a way to control it or you will end up alone.

Jealousy has nothing to do with love. it is in fact an insecurity on our part. as we do not feel we are good enough for someone else to be with us.And with this insecurity we display all our feelings of low self esteem by hating anyone that we see as competition for us, unfortunately this includes just about every one as we really do not see our self worth. To over come this we must find our self worth and believe in our selves

alonei's gotta point...too much jealousy indicates ur really insecure.....and if its about a gurl..den factors such as trust etc come into play.....how do u control it....stop thinking the negative part of things and think of only the positve part....if ur gurl goes out wit a guy dnt think dey'll end up having sex or somehting..jus think dey r two frnds going out...dats all.....

Jealousy is just a sign of being insecure. If you are insecure about yourself, then you need not to be in a relationship. All you are going to do is drive the person away from you with your jealousy.

No, it only means you are insecure about yourself! Your afraid someone is going to steal your man/women, and don't think they will stay with you, or they will find someone better! A little JEALOUSY is okay but you need you need to control it and raise your self-esteem!

Some people get jealous of their boyfriend/girlfriend when they are around other people of the opposite sex b/c they don't trust themselves with the opposite sex.
