Well, I prefer for looks, briefs. Also I have heard through older men sources that the men's jewels should not be dangling like they do with boxers. The older you get the more gravity will pull them down. Now, I am not sure how true this is but it makes a lot of sense. Just like women should not go without a bra because of the support, neither should men with the jewels.
