My friend likes this guy, but I like him too! It's not wrong if i want to go out with him and he wants to go out with me, right? I mean it's not like she went out with him, she just likes him.

There is nothing wrong with it unless she liked him first, then you are going to have to deal with her being mad at you. Eventually she will get over it.

Is he openly(or privately) flirting with you both? Does he attempt to pit the two of you against each other in a flirtatious way? Is he using the both of you to boost his ego? Does he realize the two of you like him and use it to his advantage?
You better figure these things out before pursuing this guy. otherwise youre asking for trouble in both your friendship and a relationship with a possible player.
Dont be naive here this may cost you a friendship and a broken heart. Play it smart. Pay close attention to his behavior and talk to your girlfriend straight up. Get all the details first then make your decision.

Right here you have to decide between a guy that is going to be with you for months or a friend that is always goig to be there for you. Imagine how would you feel if the same guy instead of liking you likes your friend, and even though she knows you like him, she goes out with him. Try to be fair. And remember what goes around comes around! Think about it, and good luck!

Its a pretty sticky situation. I would advice you not to go there. Take it from someone whos been there. I had the same thing happen to me years ago, my friend liked this guy, but he liked me, I liked him too. We ended up going out and my friend was so mad, she hated me for that. Our friendship was never the same and ended in bad terms. You have to decide if you want to end your friendship with your friend. Later on me and the guy broke up. So I did lose a friend over it. Sorry but its one or the other.

If he likes you then you friend should be happy for you. She can't make him like her. She needs to move on. If she lets a guy get in the way of your friendship then she wasn't really your friend. However, is the guy worth loosing a friend over?

You are right...if he likes you too. Now...if he likes you and your friend...well he's playing games, so move on to the next guy. It's not worth messing up the friendship you have with her. If you and this guy like each other and he's not interested in your friend....make sure to consult it with your friend. Good luck

Yeah that doesn't seem like it's a bad thing if you wanna go out with a guy who likes you and doesn't like your friend who likes him. Like you said, it isn't like she actually had any sort of thing with him or a connection or whatever. Go for it ! But be prepared to risk your friendship or at least go through a speedbump.

Follow your head not your heart. Will you hurt your friend if you go out with him. A friendship last longer then a boyfriend.

Well there is nothing wrong with you dating him but does your friend know that you like him to if she knows no problem but if she doesnt know tell her so she wont think you betrayed her and if she know and you date him and she doesnt talk to you anymore then she isnt a real, true blue friend
