Unless he decides to leave he will still be there at the end of the season. Murray wont fire him and who the hell will replace him.Even if they got Walter back it will make no difference because he has a team of youngsters and there is no money available to buy. I think it is best that all Rangers supporters see this through because I remain convinced Le Guen will get it right in time. The League is gone so now Rangers must make sure they get 2nd place and win a Cup or two. Next season will be different because there will be additions to the squad.Le Guen and the team will have experience of the SPL under their belts and the supporters will not allow another season like this.

I think you will find that Le Guen will not walk away from the rangers job. He will need to be pushed out by David Murray. Le Guen is a proud man, not used to failure and I feel he will turn it around, but not this year. I think he can wave goodbye to this season, buy sensibly during the january transfer window and start building for 2007-08 season.
His failure to buy properly this season has cost him the league already. Only Clement and Sionko have made any impact on what was already a poor Rangers side and he knows that better signings are necessery for them to throw down a serious challenge to Celtic next season.

I agree with Fudgie! David Murray did not pursue one of the most respected coaches in Europe only to sack him after less than six months in the post. Paul Le Guen will see out his contract in full and he will win silverware before that term is up.
These clueless morons who are calling for his removal should remember that the greatest manager in British football history, Sir Alex Ferguson was at Old Trafford for six years before starting to win silverware regularly. Would Manchester United have won all those Premiership titles and the Uefa Champions League if their Chairman had not continued to show faith in the Manager? I very much doubt it!
Rangers fans have got to get it in their thick heads that new teams are not built overnight. It takes time for new players to gel together into effective partnerships and whether we like it or not, we have just got to accept that fact. If we have faith now, the good times will return, and then we'll all be asking ourselves what all the fuss was about.
Go on Paul, never say die!!

Well, I am a Celtic fan and I hope he stays a long time!!!
But, seriously he can't become a bad manager overnight, look at Ferguson at Man U, crap seasons then glory all the way. The problem these days is fans demand instant success (especially the Old Firm), what claptrap. I think you should give him a full season and judge him next year. All the great teams in history have fallen and risen stronger.

Not being a Rangers supporter I would give him this season and part of next.
If I was a Rangers supporter I would want him out now.

3 years minimum. Anything else is just pandering to the media. Fans would do well to get behind the man.

They can keep him as long as they want. We dont need rangers to keep a bad manager to enable us to win, we would be winners no matter what. 15 points not bad keep it up bhoys
