I have read parts so I in no way am an expert but it is easy to find it on the Internet. The god the Muslims pray to is not the God whose Son was Jesus Christ. Yes, they are expecting Iraq to be the place where their god comes back and that is why the fighting in Iraq is so bad. The President of Iran says his god will come back and those that don't become Muslims will die and they will rule the world. That is why we are in a holy war. The sad thing even the other Muslims are in danger of being killed also if they aren't like the Jihads. This war we are in is a world wide war but are we talking about it? You say there is not difference but I happen to believe Our Lord's second coming has already came back in 70 AD and the judgment was than. That is a big difference. I didn't use to believe that I thought like a lot of Christians that the second coming had not come and we were waiting on it. With much study of like minds I have changed my mind. That is what is so wonderful about the Bible and being a Christian we should not be dogmatic and never ever change our thinking. God gave a us a mind to challenge what others have said for many centuries and that is what makes being a child of God so wonderful.

The Torah has been preserved for far longer than the Quran and the best linguists think that *A* letter may have changed in the past few millenium since it was originally penned. If I remember correctly, the POSSIBLE misscribe of a letter was in exodus.

By that logic, I should be a Jew, not a Muslim.

We have many original holy texts from Babylon and Sumeria, predating even the Jewish texts. We have a complete copy of the Egyptian Book of the Dead that has been verified every time a fragment has been discovered. So by that further logic, I should follow the Khemitic Faith, not Islam.

Very well, you have convinced me. Osiris, Ra, and Isis are my gods, and Sehkmet is my patron goddess.

Thank you for showing me the light.

as a side note -- I don't know arabic, but I have read the three primary interpretations to english of it. The local mosque guided me to a version that had the original Arabic and the three interpreations arranged in columns so each verse was next to the same verse in each interpretation and the original.

I have read bits of it (the George Sale Translation).
I cannot attest that typos have not occurred in some copies.
I do not understand how you can say that good, mistake free printing practices are evidence of the existence of God.
For me the sad thing about this work, which struck me as wonderfully poetic in parts, is that people use it to follow their own political agendas, instead of using it to explore their souls and their relationship with God.
The other sad thing for me is that my Arabic is much to poor to be able to read it in it's original language. I have heard that Arabic is a much better language for poetry than English, so the Quran must be astonishing in its depth and subtlety in Arabic.

Have you ever read the bible? Have you ever read what Jesus did for you? How many miracles have you seen taking place in Islam? How many have been cured of illness, addictions, financial problems? The answer is NONE! Thats why I don't bother with reading a book that was written 600 years after Muhammed. And please explain to me how you can accept Muhammed as a prophet when he married a little girl that was about 7 years old, in God's eyes thats a child molester.

I understand that Quran has never been modified, but I'm not sure why that would constitute a miracle. Couldn't humans have accomplished the same thing, just by being careful?

I have read this book. I do see that it is preserved by God as a miracle.
I think it's ok that you think that, but please don't ask me to believe it.
Why don't I believe it? Because I do not believe that God exists.

the qur'an's miracle can be more clear if you read it in Arabic , every single verse can had many incredible meaning and translating it to English takes lot of it.
