I have been dating this guy but it´s kind of weird, it´s been 2 months since we started dating. He calls every other day and we ususally hang out but last time he didn´t call for 12 days and then he called so we would go out to lunch, he stood me up and called me the next day 3 times apologizing and with an excuse, but he didn´t call anymore and he said to a friend he thought I was mad at him and that because he thought that he wasn´t gonna call me again because I would probably not answer his calls. So do I call him or not? I fell like he doesn´t know what he wants and I just don´t want him to play with me. What do I do I really like him because he is sweet and a perfect gentleman but I´m confused.

forget the immature man. Move on and find someone else that won't treat you like a child.

And he is NOT a gentleman is he treats you like that!!!!

You said he is sweet and a perfect gentleman but he didnt call you for 12 days and then he stood you up. Doesnt sound like a gentleman to me. He needs to be a man and stop with the talking to friends about should he call or are you mad at him. If he wants to pursue a relationship with you then he needs to call you.

Do you like the guy? If so, call him and tell him what you think about his lapses in contacting you. Sometimes a guy may get the wrong idea and come to the wrong conclusion, thus he stopped calling because he assumed you were mad. Just let him know what you expect from him, that you like him, and you hope next time he'll call you rather than assume you are upset at him. That'll show him that you are cool, and worth hanging onto! :-) Good luck!

Well, it appears that he is confused as well. My advice would be to confront him and talk about it. Talk about your relationship. Talk about what you want, and what he wants. From what I see here, it seems both of you want to be together, but both seem to be a bit lost and confused and not sure what to do. A good chat should solve that problem. Either you will find out what he wants, or if he keeps trying to avoid it, maybe he's having a hard time telling you that it's over? I don't know, really. There are many possibilites. Just talk to him...in person if possible. Good luck.

Yup, dating sucks! Kinda. 12 days is a really long time to not call. Did you talk to him after he apoligized? If he just left 3 msgs apologizing and you didn't return his call or respond than he probably does think your mad at him..but if you did accept his apology and now he hasn't called find someone else who will treat you better.

During the 12 days that he didn't call, did you try to call him? It doesn't seem like you know what you want either. If you wanted to be with him, then you would call him. If you didn't want to be with him, then you would call him and let him know. So don't blame the guy for your confusion. All you are doing is confusing yourself.

Perfect gentleman? Define gentleman

do you think you've done anything that would make him want to blow you off? it does sound weird. have you forgiven him for standing you up? he probably feels weird talking to you now and doesn't expect things to move on. if you want to stay with him, you call him. you really don't even need to talk about the situation unless he brings it up. just talk to him like you are in a good mood and happy to be talking to him. in your voice he will know if you forgave him. then things can move on.

Don't waste your time on him. Not calling for twelve days was enough, don't you think??? Unless he was on a business trip or something (which I doubt and even still he would have warned you about it) you don't need a man doing that to you, that's rude and disrespectful.

if he is a perfect gentleman, then he shouldn't have stood you up. Try having another date with him and see how it goes.
