Jew is a two sided word. It is both a religion and an ethnicity (if that is the right word) A religion is a choice, but the other is just what you are born. The Jews for Jesus are people that were born Jewish - but have accepted Jesus as the Messiah of the OT prophecies. The difference between religious Jews and Christians is simply the acceptance of Jesus as the Son of God. The Jews for Jesus have made that transition.
