It seems like people are avoiding the issue. What's being asked is if you will unquestioningly submit yourself to God. Whether you think God would want you to perform said action or would not be able to do this without you is not in question.
Incident: God tells you to kill someone.
You are a self-admittedly insignificant being who could not begin to understand God. Whatever his motivation be, God has told you to do this.
Do you comply?
(My answer's no by the way, but I'm not religious so this question probably was not directed at me. I just think that some of the people passing judgement here are being hypocritical.)

No! I wouldn't kill anyone, I would ignore the voices or get help. It was like the movie I saw called the Frailty. Where a man heard God tell him to kill evil people and he had his youngest son help him and the oldest son didn't want any part of it.

I dont think God would tell you to kill someone in the first place. Wouldnt that be going agasint all God is? I don't believe for one bit that God told people in the old testament to kill all the evil. I think they were just a little power hungry and using "the word of god" to justify their actions. God is about love not hate. So if he did tell those people to kill, well he'd be quite the hypocrite wouldnt he?But thats just my view on things. But to actually answer your question haha i think Id go see a doctor if voices in my head were telling me to kill somebody

God no longer requires blood to be shed as atonement for sin so I cannot see any reason why he would ask me to kill someone. Jesus took that need away. The only way I could justify killing another human would be for self defense, defense of my family , or if I was in the military and was doing my duty as a civil servant.

I think mortgagegirl101 has the correct answer.
Sad to see so many "educated" intellectuals here who have it all figured out that God is only an imaginary friend. One day every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess.

Since there is no such thing as a god, you would be listening to your own desires. Do what you think is right and stop trying to justify it by the order of a mythical god.
