I have an oval shaped face, and my hair is layered. The longest layer goes to about the middle of my back. My hair is wavy and thick, but will cooperate with whatever I do to it.

I'm wearing a dress like the famous picture of marilyn monroe - the halter, in black.

Any ideas? Please give me instructions on what to use and how to do it, too. thanks!

first off i am jealous that you can wear a dress like that and have the body to do it. second, with an oval face and a body like that, who cares what you do with your hair. they aint gonna be looking at your hair darlin'.....trust me on that one. as a TGirl, i would be looking elsewhere. i know most guys will be too. the girls at the party are gonna go oh my god.....smile you got it all darlin.

For oval faces, anything goes! Luck you! Can experiment with styles...but for a black halter, you may want to let it all long, flowing and tousled, or straight if you prefer, for either a laidback or the sleek and sexy look. Or you could tie a half ponytail with light curls in your hair, for a "celebrity" look. Enjoy!;)

Put your hair in a high pony tail.
Take pieces of lengths of hair and pin them up around the elastic, so it's "this is hard!!! " LOL. anyways, try to pin it up so that it hangs like in the middle, your pining up the ends of each piece of hair about 1-2inches at a time. Take each peice to hide the pins.. and place them sort of crisscross over each other, so that the back of your hair looks like loose curls all over.
the odd pieces, just let them hang out. Take the sides of your hair, which would be the bangs area, and let them hang loosely.

My daughter figured this hair do out one day,and she did all of us girls,.. it looked awesome, and alot of people commented on it.

well there is alot you could do.
1. put mousse in it to help the curl, use a defuser, and leave it down with your bangs clipped up.
2. leave it curly and put in a loose ponytail in the middle of your head.
3. leave curly and put half or it up using a claw clip.
4. straighten you hair, and have someone loosely braid the top half of your hair.
