The expiration date on it is November 1, today is November 6, but I know that if you keep it frozen it lasts longer. I kept it frozen until November 4 and I want to use it today. Thank you for your help.

I wouldn't worry about expiration date, so much as its been sitting in your fridge uncooked for 2 days since you defrosted it. If you open the package and detect no odor whatsoever, its probably okay, but I would cook it well. It should have been used immediately upon defrosting.

It should be fine. You had it in the freezer before the 11/1 date it's cool. Make sure you do use it today because tomorrow would be pushing it.

Unwrap it and smell it. You'll be able to decide very easily if you fancy it or not. Off meat meat smells dreadful.
In any case make sure you cook it thoroughly all the way through. Only meat in the best condition should be used for raw and underdone recipes.

Yes cook it today and you'll be fine. I did the same thing, have drums thawed since Saturday night and I'm doing them up for lunch today...

As long as its been in the fridge since it came out the freezer, it should be good for a couple more days.

Yes it should be fine, but you will want to hurry and make it today, other than that it's gonna go bad on you. Roast it and or fry it, and it will be fine. Bon Apetite

Yes you can use it. It should not have a foul (no pun intended) smell and should not be slimy. Don't wait any longer than today.

As long as you defrosted it in the refrigerator it will be fine if you use in now.
