I'm looking into buying a fujifilm digital camera, I was wondering if they last long and take good pictures? I like their price range and features.

As with all brands, read some reviews for the model(s) you're interested in. For example, the Fuji F30 is currently the best point & shoot for low light situations, but it's only average for daytime shots. Here are 2 good review sites:

Yes- some of the best out there. Fuji has taken a different tact than the other manufacturers, and are pushing the bounds of light sensitivity. Their cameras (at least the ones with their superCCD) have 2-3 times the light sensitivity of anything short of a DSLR.

for a compact camera, check out the F20 or F30. for a superzoom, look at their S9100 or S6500.
