Being a Muslim means to be one who submits. All you have to believe to be a Muslim is that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is his prophet. However, Allah had many prophets, including Adam, Abraham, Moses and Jesus. Islam is a beautiful, peaceful religion that gets a bad rap because of Islamic extremists. Many Muslims do not even consider those people to be true Muslims, anyway...And by the way, to the person who put Jihad, what is wrong in believing in something so strongly that you are willing to die for your beliefs? Are you threatened by a faith so much stronger than yours will ever be? If that's the case think of this...didn't Jesus commit Jihad by dying on the cross for his beliefs?

I think Muslims are much the same as any other religion.
What annoys a lot of people though is that when things like the London bombings took place there was hardly a peep from so called moderate Muslims condeming these fools and the ones that did speak out always took a pop at the government instead of savaging the terrorists.
Bottom line is Muslims are ok in general but too many are living in the past.

Being a muslim is like being of any religion. You have a set of beliefs that you follow. There will be some that follow these beliefs more or less strictly than others.
CURRENTLY in the world, Muslim extremists are the most dangerous extremists, due to severity and numbers.

Muslim simply means who submits. By this definition, anyone who submits to the will of God is a Muslim. Islam is really a beautiful faith. Where else can one find the expression that God is as close as the vein in your neck, or No matter where you turn, there is the face of God?

The vast majority of muslims are peaceful people, just like the vast majority of christians. It's is those extreme fanatics like bush, blair and bin laden you'e gotta watch.

I believe that there are the good, Allah fearing muslims, and then there are the radical muslims who were brainwashed into believing that it is right to murder. The brains of the radical muslims were shrunk to the size of a poppy seed, enough brain to murder, pee and poo.

I really dont know much about the muslim faith. All websites about it preach how bad it is, and I know logically that the whole faith cannot be bad, so I have little to go on.
