my bro gets mad when i d ate his friends hes really over protected and he gets mad and stops talking to his friends when i talk to him he found out me and one of his friends where together and he didnt talk to him for 3 months wouldnt he rather me date one of his friends so he can come over and hangout with both of and we can do stuff together me and my bro are some what close mostly when it comes to partying together

Ok so my husband is the same way your brother sounds to be and we are currently going through a very similar situation. I think in the long run, yes, your brother might be happier dating someone he knew over someone he didn't, but that would be in the long run. You have to think about it from your brothers prespective. Ok, so your brother and his friends talk about all kinds of stuff, but guys talk about hook ups and sex together!! How do you think your brother would feel if his friend all of a sudden was talking about this chick he made out with, and it was about you!! AWKWARD!! Especially because no matter what you are still his sister!! And you will always be, just like you probably don't want to think about who he is hooking up with, same goes for him. And it's a respect issue! If his friends really valued your brothers friendship, they wouldn't go after you in the first place. It's an unspoken rule between friends!
My advice, if you have to date his friends, fine, but you are going to have to deal with him acting like this. He won't change! It might help some to attempt to be very respectful about it, either you or the guy you are wanting to date need to be up front and honest with him. It will make it better than going behind his back!

You definetly crossed the wrong line. Find your own boyfriends and stop taking his friends.
My brother was the same way. I was not allowed to date them. And his friends werent allowed to talk about how hot i was or damn your sister looks good crap in front of me. Plus along with the guy talk was not to be spoke in front of me.
Talk to you brother. Tell him how you feel. But respect him too.
He is only protecting and respecting you cause what does he do when his best friend is telling him how he go t it on with you and laughing with all the other guys? Bad deal for you bro. He is going to stand up for your honor and every one is disprespceting you. He is doing what he has to do before it ahppens.
So try not to create him too much trouble.
He dont want his "friends" coming to him and telling him how easy his sister is.

Would you want your brother to date one of your friends?? Guys tell each other about things they would never share with a girl. Maybe he knows some of his friends will mistreat you. Or maybe he's afraid you and his friend will break up and he will have to choose sides. Why don't you have a little more respect for your brother and look BEYOND his social circle to find someone to date?
