I think I am a reasonably attractive woman. I am 5'11", blonde hair, brown eyes, smooth complection. However, I am not skinny...I am about 20 lbs. overweight. I'm not huge, nor am I all flabby. I guess my question is whether or not a guy sees me for a pretty girl, or a fat pretty girl? Don't really know if this question makes sense, but there it is.

Do u have a brain, do u use it...
The world is to concerned iwth looks, and it's really quite pathetic. If you ahve a good heart and good soul, who cares if your 20lbs overweight.

I'm sure some guys see you as attractive. Heck, maybe even a lot of guys do---I don't know. And though you may consider being 20 lbs overweight a barrier, some men actually like women who are more full-figured. Some guys might be intimidated by your height, particularly shorter guys, but not all of them. Besides, even if they are, there are plenty of tall men out there.
I guess it all boils down to the fact that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

You have a self image problem. First you are tall for a woman, it can intimidate men and you may have grown up with men being intimidated. Second, 20 pounds is nothing. 100 pounds and you should worry. But 20 pounds on your frame would never be noticed. Take a good look at yourself naked in a mirror and decide if you like it. That is the only opinion that really counts.

Each person is different. We all find different things attractive and unattractive. I personally like for a lady to be curvy. I do not think skinny ladies are necessarily attractive as I said I like for a woman to have some curves. Now the outer appearance is what is the initial draw but the inner person is what bonds.

Considering the vast number of decidedly overweight women I see that are definitely married, I would say that you are not in the category of being rejected because of your weight. Check your attitudes around men. Are you aggressive, shy, reclusive, flirtatious? Ask some friends for honest opinions. I wouldn't risk defining your looks without a picture, anyway.
