Is there a way to get rid of whatever causes that? I have tried salting the brinjals for a while. But it doesn't work. Some say male brinjals don't scratch, but the female ones with a lot of seeds cause the tongue to scratch

I eat them all the time. The only fruit/plant that scratch are pineapples. BTW I ddn't know you can eat a boy brinjals or a girl bringals. Do they come with studs anyway? Bet the pins is causing the scratches.
