Very carefully. Imagine how many years bad luck you could end up with working in a place like that?

Isn't it something to do with a silver coating of some kind on the back - or a metallic reflective thingy?

Basically, a mirror is a sheet of aluminium (or similar shiny metal) behind a sheet of glass.

Basically they are made by getting a very clear pane of glass and coating it with silver nitrate and then a layer of copper sulphate to protect the silver.

They say that if you break a mirror it's seven years bad luck, iv'e been married for 21 yrs and i cant remember breaking three mirrors !
