I am guessing he is under 18. My brother talked bad about me one time that I know of and to my face. I told him not to ever do it again I was his sister.
But sounds like a brother - brother relationship right? That may be different. Just try to be cool with him and communicate.
I never knew my brother hated me when we were little until this weekend. He had to write an essay on who he disliked that he likes now. Guess who the subject was? Me. Its funny now, but I had no clue.
Brothers want to be respected and my brother is my best friend. But you have to communicate and both listen. Even though you may never agree on the same things. They also need role models. So depending on your age, tyr to work somethings out.
Ask him - be direct - what he thinks of you. Try doing more things with him. Hanging out going out to eat and talking.
I dont know I have my own thoughts about my brother, but I would dare anyone else talk about him bad. Plus I love him- unconditional love, regarless of what he does ever.
The coolest part is we are very honest an dblunt with each other. If i dont like what hes doing he gets told and vice versa. We respecet that and try not to use it to create hard feelings.

First, you should start by confronting your brother. Ask him what his issues with you are. Then, find out why he feels/thinks the way he does of you. After that, discuss what you can do to change his opinion of you. Sometimes though, ppl can be very judgemental....especially siblings/family members. Keep in mind....you can't please all the ppl all the time. Try to focus on bettering yourself from within...not trying to change how ppl view you.
You can't change other ppl. You can only change yourself. Best Wishes, Toni....Blessed be!!

Your brother is displaying immaturity. He may be jealous of you for some reason. You need to talk to him and air it out. You need to get to the bottom of this. Don't keep this in, sibling bonds are important.

Well you need to talk to him about it, its better to confront. My bro was pressured into saying stuff that wasent true about me, when I overheard it hurt alot, but when we talked we set it strait. It could be a huge misunderstanding...and if it is not you really need to talk to him about it and see what could make the problem better.

hey paul,
hard to reconcile if you're talking to him...
need to do a reality check- are you negative, critical and sarcastic??
let your brother know that you're going to make an effort to be more positive/less critical, and not so sarcastic...
then try to be more positive, less critical, and not so sarcastic..
good luck~!
