I don't know that it's "rude", but it is a bit curious if it happens all the time. I used to date this man who always did that and rarely stayed the night. I became suspicious and followed him one night. He was married. The cad!!
From then on any guy who wanted to shower immediately only got to do it once! The snuggle, cuddle nap thing is mandatory. They can shower when they get home! LOL

I think it's rude NOT to shower BEFORE having sex with someone. After sex, there should always be some kind of clean up too.

I see where you are coming from. In the sense that he feels he must wash your nastiness off of him. Yeah, I could she how that would be off putting. Like he thinks you are dirty. I don't run to the showers after sex. I think he might be a clean freak. Either that or I'm a filthy pig. As long the person showers before sex - that's what's important.

If a partner gets all sweaty, then it's rude to NOT shower. But the post nookie cuddle is mandatory, and should not be delayed any longer than the time it takes for a quick piss and a swipe at the crotch with a damp cloth. The shower should wait until AFTER the cuddle.

No - but keep in mind that the smell of a person, of the opposite sex or even the same sex, is often a real aphrodisiac. You are missing out, or your partner is missing out on something you both might enjoy. The modern habit of covering or removing the natural oils from the skin isn't always good for you.

Why not cuddle for a while & then shower together? He just wants to clean up...it's not being rude, unless he jumps out of bed to go shower.

Some people need to think about taking a shower "before" they have sex... When you say after sex... is it right after sex... or right after the complimentary nap following sex...?

Well yes and no - if he just jumps off and heads for the shower - Yes. But if he just wants to shower before putting his clothes back on I would say - good for him! - not all men are so fastidious.

If it is a behaviour that is repeated every single time then I would be concerned that he has an obsessive compulsive disorder. Some people have a fear of being "dirty"and can never get themselves or their surroundings clean enough.
