Where?
A movie? Bus? School? restaurant?

If you like him, talk to him. At least say hello.

as you have made your question very general its difficult to answer.. If you are nervous about talking to a guy when he sits next to you then don't say anything. Read his body language first (and be aware of your own), if he looks like he wants to start a conversation then you could invite that by smiling or making eye contact, then see what he does! Have fun, just beware of strange men though!

Well, you could pretend that you are blind - and so not notice him, or that you are a deaf mute and are unable to communicate ....or possibly that you are foreign and speak no English ...or you could say something like, 'I really do find these kind of situations awkward. How do you suggest we deal with it?'

Anyway, what makes you think a guy would want to sit next to you? And, what would you do if the roles were reversed and you had to sit next to a 'him.'...? How should a 'him' handle finding himself sitting next to a 'you'?

Yeah you should but it is up to you but for me , if I was sitting by you I would say that you are the nicest girl I have ever seen. Tell me some things about yourself that I need to know so we can get together!!! Because I am interested in you.!!

It depends on the circumstances. Do you mean on a bus or train or at work or in a social situation?

If social you should talk to him. Ask where he's from or what he does etc. Or mention something that has just happened. Just be friendly and natural

I would only be concerned if he sits ON you. I sat on Sister Margaret once and I got such a slap....

Talk to him. Just make a casual, flippant remark about wherever you are (boy it's crowded in here tonight) and take it from there.
