We dated for several years and have been broken up for several years. I haven't seen him in a long time, and the last time we talked (3+ years ago) we didn't hang up on bad terms. The other day, I noticed him sitting outside a store waiting on his fiancee and I was walking out with the guy I'm dating. He wouldn't even make eye contact & turned his head when he saw us walking out. What does this mean? Why would he do this?

His fiancee wasn't near him & I don't understand why he couldn't just look up and smile or something. I didn't want to have a conversation or anything,but after being together so long and experiencing so much, I would think he could at least acknowledge my existence.

He probably didn't want the akwardness of the situation....plus if he is your EX why would you stop to talk to him while you have your boyfriend with you, and he has his FIANCEE with him? Its understandable if you guys still keep in touch but there is no need to cause drama with someone he is willing to Marry and possibly start a family with. My advice would be to forget about him and move on, Im sure thats what your boyfriend and your Ex's Fiancee would like as well! And if you see him again just smile and keep walking!

He would have been drawn to the two considered one of you. i comprehend somtimes while im with my lady buddy, i ponder whether im as stable because it somewhat is gonna get for her. He would of thought you would be happier without him. OR he thought he may be happier. He did it because he didn't want to talk to you, obviously. Now, I don't know WHY he didn't want to talk to you. Maybe he just didn't want to bother, or maybe he wanted to avoid the awkward exboyfriend/boyfriend introduction that would most likely occur if he said hi to you.
