I have had 2 different makes of suvs, a dodge durango (2004 w/ hemi) and a ford expedition. The expedition is by far the best vehicle I have ever drove. Handles well, turning ratio is awesome, just an overall great suv.

Mazda CX-7 Grand Touring Edition with Technology Package: Xenon lights, 8 way heated adjustable seats, DVD and Navigation system, 18 inch wheels, four wheel disc brakes, seats 8, heated mirrors, the works, it's unbelievable all the standard features you get, and here is the best part, all this is a standard package for $30,000. It's a luxury, sporty SUV for less than 30 g's. Compare it to other luxury SUV's, it's $15000 less. It's just unbelievable go test drive one and you'll see.

I have a Nissan XTrail and I love it! It's fun to drive, has more room than the CRV and I have had no problems with it at all. The other nice thing about the XTrail (SE)is that it comes with pretty much everything. If you add on all the extras that you get with the SE to any of the other SUVs, you'll see that the XTrail gives you more bang for your buck!
HTH!

Have you thought about one of the new hybrids? Both Ford and Toyota offer fuel effiencient SUVs...

Just like the idea that your new car will have less impact on the environment. And, since gas prices have been rising so much over the last little while, you might be glad you considered it!

I have a 2001 Chevy Suburban. Love it! It seats 9 and has room for anything. Big man stuff from the hardware store, my garage sale finds, kids friends, fishing poles and tackle boxes and lots of camping stuff. My husband and sons use it at least once a month for Scout campouts and our Suburban is the biggest so it hauls most the gear and a few smelly boys!

I have a JEEP Grand Cherokee Limited and I love it. It has been trouble free for 70,000 miles and a lot of those are hard miles (off-road and pulling a trailer).
