ok if your like me you want to make a good impression so, if from time to time you wear your hair down, do so tonight, natural makeup, and pronounce your words properly to start with, then the more you see them the more comfortable you are. I never pretend to be someone Im not, just let them see me for the first time having one of my better days. Apart from that, theyll be nervous too, if thery're good hosts, they'll take your jacket and show you where the toilet is straight away and give you a drink, all you have to do is involve yourself in the conversations. Good conversation starters:

When and where are you planning your next holiday?
Thats a lovely (what ever it is) ornament, where did you get it?

and involve yourself in their answers too- they'll love your quick responses and eagerness to contribute. Hope all goes well!

Don’t try and impress her too much, this will give off an aura of insecurity.

Just be relaxed and polite. Don't talk too much but enough to keep the conversation going, smile, and be pleasant.

If you can get the attitude in your head that she needs to impress you and not the other way round (Even though that is not really true) but the attitude will stop you being nervous.

First Dont try to make an impression just be yourself, because no matter how you look at it there will never be a woman good enough for mom's little boy just like there will never be a man good enough for daddys little girl, so just act the way you always do time will bridge the gap and any differences there may be

in basic terms be your self. do no longer faux to be somebody you at the instant are not. If she would not such as you for who you're then its her loss. i know its a daunting element assembly your boyfriends mom and dad. until now i first met my boyfriends mom and dad i replaced into incredibly apprehensive and replaced into questioning what in the event that they do unlike me ? etc etc yet on the top of the day i mentioned to myself in the event that they do unlike me their loss. i'm unlikely to alter for every person until i % to. Take some deep breaths and act the way you generally might. the 1st few circumstances would be somewhat frightening yet after a mutually as its fantastic. i'm getting on incredibly properly with my boyfriends mom and dad now and all that anxiousness replaced into for no longer something. sense privileged that your boyfriend needs you to fulfill his mum this is sparkling he's pleased with you and needs to tutor you off. sturdy success. do no longer undertaking what your feeling is organic :)

Don't treat it as an interview, just relax and try not to chat too much. I think accepting tea or coffee will make her see your'e relaxed. Ask her if you can see pictures of your boyfriend when he was a baby, this usually breaks the ice and mums love getting these things out.

Be yourself!! Be polite!! And she can't fail to like you. If she is cooking for you then compliment her cooking and thank her for her efforts. You could take a small gift like a little box of chocs, small bunch flowers or a bottle of wine.

If its literally a flying visit and you are just saying hello, then be smiley and calm and she will have no reason not to like you. Be yourself amongst everything and you'll be fine!

Good luck! If your nervous you must like him alot! :-)

Be yourself, let her like you for the person you really are instead of a person that your not, especially if you and her son ends up getting married she will already know what kind of person you are and don't have to see it after u marry her son and she ends up hating you.
