Salad of all sorts is always nutritious. The dressing we put on the salad, there's where the problem comes in. Keep it light and simple.Lemon and oil makes a great dressing and there are so many "Light" dressings on the market and "Spritzers".

Very. But the fat content can be high with the meat, cheese, and egg. Then there's the dressing. My trick is to order the dressing on the side, and just dip my fork into the cup, then stab the salad. Better than drowning the salad in high fat dressing. :)

if you mean just a regular tossed salad with tomatoes, then, not very! you can add more nutrition by adding chicken, tuna, a little cheese for protien and calcium. dont put loads of fatty dressing over it.

Just however nutritous you make it. I like to add all the good stuff to mine. A bit of lettuce then pile on the vegies. carrots, broc. cauliflower, bell peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes. Anything else you like such as turkey or ham and maybe a boiled egg. Then all a bit of a good cheese like fetta and a bit of fat free dressing. Really good and good for you.

It's a great variety of veggies and proteins. Just be careful of high-fat salad dressings.
