I recently upgraded and bought a new PC now on my old PC I had Kazaa and that was 2002 so alots change from then. I also heard that they were fining people who that weren't paying for the Kazaa service. Well I had alot of files down;loaded on my old PC but it got a virus and I was suggested to stop downloading music from Kazaa because of my large amount of existing files so I stopped using Kazaa on my old PC about 3 years ago and just stuck with the music I had on the PC. Okay now my question to you peopleI downloaded Kazaa on to my new PC I downloaded the free version about four days ago but when I go to try to download music I put the artist or song that I want to download and about % 90 of the time it says nothing found in search result so do you have to pay for Kazaa now to get full access to downloading music or have half the world stopped using Kazaa?

Yes. You have to pay the service to get full access. Kazaa was the first to fall under the interdiction of the RIAA.. It was not the last. The last was WinMX, which was far superior to KaZaa with almost no viruses.

This is true for ALL the P2P download sites: Limewire, Bearshare, WinMX and any other P2P others will tell you about. One caution about the newer P2P sites (including KaZaa); they are a haven for viruses.

And, most (if not all) of these sites want TMI to register. For example; Bearshare wants you to load your Buddy List, Yahoo IM list or other IM service before you can finish the download.

As for your music collection: Put it in a folder only you can access. If you like to share some of the music, do so knowing the RIAA is looking for pirated music. The RIAA is looking for Large downloads/uploads of music not paid for.

I used to use Kazaa but I have switched over to Limewire because it's free and the downloads are faster. Kazaa has had too many virus problems so I stopped using it.

Kazaa (its out of Australia) is being forced to shut down by the gov.your best bet is: Limewire.com or Bearshare.com No problems with viruses.
