if a young person earns less than £100 per week, does he/she have to pay Tax?

I'm almost certain that a young person gets an allowance of £5035 for the tax year 2006/2007!
So if you earn £100 per week x52weeks = £5200 , you will pay tax at 10% on £165, ( thats around £3 per week).
