The Islamic law has three sources:
The Holly Quran, The prophet Mohammad PB UH says and actions " called hadeeth", and Similarities law or called "Qias".
Where you can compare two things together e.g Alcohol is forbidden in Islam by Holly Quran and prophet PB UH says, so regarding drugs now a days is prohibited because they have the same effect, loss of awareness and loss of consciousness.
Another part of law,Muslim sharia scientists when they agreed upon something.
