Really think you should contact your vet. Talk to them and tell them the situation, she is hurt, but you can't afford the bill. I was recently in the same situation, and the vet worked with me on the bill. At least call them, or your cat could die from an infection. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Vet care isn't an option. It's either you take it to a vet, or other animal care facility, or it begins to suffer even more and possibly even die. Infection creates an awful death for animals. If need be, you can give it up to the humane shelter. They probably work closely with a nearby vet's office and can have the kitten looked after. Keeping it because you don't want to part with it would be selfish.

Love is not enough. Legally it is considered animal cruelty not to treat a sick or injured animal that you have.

If you cannot afford to treat the kitten it must go to the humane society with the possibility of euthanasia if your negligence has caused it to suffer needlessly and it can no long be helped.

Don't ever again get a kitten and let it be outside the house. Any cat that is outdoors is at risk of injury and if that is the way you want the cat to live then you must be prepared to accept the financial reponsibility of veterinary treatment when it is injured.

You need to disinfect the wound. Put betadine and some powder antibiotic on it every day. You need to get your cat vaccinated anyway, if you haven't done so already, but that will deal with the rabies. The possibility of rabies is very small in the western world, but i don't know where you live. Why don't you take it to a vet of some animal friendly society, asking not to kill but to cure the poor animal?

You really need to take him to a vet, this is quite serious. If you love him, don't let him suffer, he's depending on you. See if you can find a vet that will at least take some kind of payment plan, and it may not be that expensive anyway for what he needs.

take your cat to the local spca or just tell your vet that you cant afford to take your cat to him I am sure he will help your cat. try taking your cat to the vet as soon as possible seeing as infection spreads quickly
