if it's ok with him, then it sould be alright for you to make o move on her. I mean, if it doesn't bother him then why wait??? lol If you're not sure about his answer, you could ask him again to be on the safe side.

Ok, ok, ok.... ask that question, again, but to yourself. Real loud and clear and see what you think the answer should be. Really think about it. DON'T GO OUT WITH YOUR FRIEND'S EX! NEVER! It means trouble! You're causing a problem in your life that you don't need. Don't you want to live a less stressful life? Are you bored in your life and want some action? Don't bring negative action(s). Think of positive things that you want in your life and know that you'll be alright. You won't be alright if you date your friend's ex. Don't believe your friend when he says it won't bother him. That's a BIG NO NO. Don't even talk to the ex...Don't be friends with her. NO. No. NO. Haven't you seen what happens to people who've been through that? There's never anything good that comes out of that. NEVER! What? A one-night stand, maybe. Is that what you want? TROUBLE, TROUBLE, AND MORE TROUBLE. Do, really, think about it, please. Avoid the ex as much as you can. You don't want it to lead to any type of temptation(s) between the 2 of you. Your life will be very complicated if you get involved with her. There are plenty of other women in this world. Why do you set your eyes on the one that your friend went out with? It's not right! Unless your friend NEVER really cared about her, and vice versa. Good luck in making the right decision. What does your heart/gutt say about this? I don't think you want to break off your friendship over this girl...do you?

That's a sticky situation. Even though he says that it's OK, there will still be some feelings of either undying love or bitterness towards his ex. And you being the friend going out with his ex would make it a very awkward situation, especially if you all were together. I would also say that it typically is a 'Man-Law' not to date your friends ex, but there are always exceptions...if you are willing to risk it.

Why is he the ex? Was he the jealous type? I didn't think you had to ask permission to go out with someones ex? Everybody probably has an ex.

i would never put myself in a situation like that because a friend is a friend... why would you want to date someone you already know about from another person you're close too.... think about the fact that bring the parties back together could bring back memories and they could get back together.... but you do what's best for you...

If your friend said it's okay, then it's okay.
Take the girl out and have a good time, and learn how to spell.
