I think he's hiding from me because he hates me. I am an atheist, but would change my mind if he suddenly made himself known to me. Do I not deserve a chance?

LOL too funny sleestack. No this is just to see what answers I would get based on how I used to search for proof of god. I have accepted that there isn't any. Thanks

Hi, You will find God in the Bible. At first it will be hard to understand because you are "a natural man (woman)".
1 Corinthians 2:14 says "But the Natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned".
If you have never read God's word it will be like reading Greek, sorry for the pun. After you have read the Bible it will make sense than you will see the "truth". Romans is a very good place to start as is John first 3 chapters.
God will show himself to you. Ephesian 2 8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith, not of yourselves it is the gift of God... Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ out Lord. John 3:16 Romans 3:23 Acts 4:12

He says he created the world. Man says "It happened by accident, BIG BANG" ever see a good accident? God says all things are made of tiny smaller things that cant be seen (ATOMS). Man is finding in microbiology that the particle get so small to be infinitesimal yet still go on, many of those researchers are becoming saved by Science (they see God's handiwork).
He is waiting... grace

Perhaps you have not looked in the right places?

God is Spirit; how do you expect to recognize Him when you do see Him? Especially since you believe there is NO God? Or, maybe, you are not really an atheist, more of an agnostic?

I can assure you that God does not hate you!!

If you search for Him with all your "heart" ...

Are you searching for Him; or waiting for Him to "suddenly make Himself known" to you?

God doesn't hate you; He loves you very, very much. In fact, He wants you to end up in Heaven so badly that He gave His only Son as a sacrifice to pay for all the bad things you've ever done. That way, your sins are wiped clean and you may enter Heaven.
All you have to do to find Him is pray to Him earnestly, setting aside all your angry feelings for a moment and just talk to Him like you would talk to a loving father or your best friend. Ask Him to reveal Himself to you, and He will.
A mistake that many people make is believing that they are a worse sinner than Jesus is a savior. He can save absolutely anybody, regardless of how bad their sins are. All you have to do is ask.

he has already made himself known to you. you exist. that is proof enough. i know you don't think you are walking around on this earth of your own volition. who woke you up this morning. certainly not your clock. do you know there are people who set
their clocks, and they went off as usual but the people do not get
up. that is proof there is a god. you cannot do anything without the help of a higher being. if there was not someone or something else in charge of us and our lives then those individuals by their own design would have awoke simply because that would have been their choice. that is proof enough that there is a god.

I AM SO SORRY FOR YOU .
YOU HAVE BEEN MISINFORMED.
HE IS A GOD OF LOVE.
HE DOESN'T HATE ANY OF HIS CHILDREN.
THE ONLY THING HE HATES IS THE SIN THAT THEY HAVE DONE. HE IS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU WITH OPEN ARMS. WE DON'T DESERVE A SECOND CHANCE, BUT HE IS ALWAYS WILLING TO TAKE YOU BACK. KEEP SEARCHING.
THERE MAY BE SOMETHING IN YOUR LIFE THAT YOU NEED TO GET RID OF BEFORE YOU CAN FULLY SEE ALL THE GREAT THINGS HE HAS IN STORE FOR YOU. NEVER DOUBT HIS AWESOME POWER. HIS IS ALWAYS THERE WATCHING OVER YOU. HE ONLY WANTS THE BEST FOR YOU. THE LORD WORKS IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS AND WE CANT ALWAYS UNDERSTAND HIM.
MABY YOU SHOULD TAKE THE LEAP OF FAITH AND CALL ON HIM FIRST. I WILL PRAY THAT YOU CAN FIND HIM AND LOVE HIM AS MUCH AS HE LOVES YOU. =)

You seem like you're searching. Look into your heart. Meditate on it. If you feel the presence of your soul and of a higher power, that's your calling. Follow your intuition and see where it leads you.

Blessed be.

Yes you deserve a chance and he loves you so very much look inside your heart for it is inscribed there. It is innate. He does not hate you for he is incapable of hate. He has already made himself known to you by knocking at your door so let HIM in.

Who are you to say, "God I will follow you if you prove to me you are there?"

This is what you do. Say, Jesus,I know that i've sinned, Jesus I profess today, that you are lord. Come into my life, open my heart, wash away my sin. Give me the strength to follow you, all the days of my life.

There's a poem that goes something like this: I sought my soul, but my soul I could not see. I sought God, but He could not be found. I sought my neighbor and I found all three.

Are you finding what you are looking for and just not recognizing it?

Peace,

MoP
