Most definately YES!!! it causes stress. after a prolonged period of excessive stress the immune system starts to slip a little letting germs invade and multiply, making you sick. also, the body reacts to high levels of stress in different ways such as stomach problems, headaches, body aches, and insomnia--which can cause its own aliments.
i hope you find a solution. financial stress is the worst.

Yes, being in debt can cause mental illness and other disorders such as depression, chest pains, fatigue and even skin diseases. These issues have triggers that cause disorders. You should see a doctor, explain in full what you are feeling, why you are feeling this way, and get the appropriate treatment. Consulting a lawyer may also help get the creditors to leave you alone. Professional advice is cheap in the long run.
Good luck

Yes, stress has physical symptoms and do not let anyone tell you differently.
Try to get debt under control using a debt councelor and try any stress reducing actions that work for you. I.e. yoga, warm baths, etc. With counceling, you will see a light at the end of the tunnel and this should help with the stress of debt. Take small steps and you will get there!!!! Good luck!

Yes, this is called stress. Which, causes emotional and physical pain. You probably have stomach aches, back aches, your chest probably hurts. There IS way out, even if you don't think there is. You just have to search for how to get out of your debt (debt consolidation, etc) youll feel MUCH better after you have figured that part out. Stress is one of the worst things on a body. But, always remeber this too shall pass.

Any major stressor, especially a prolonged one, can have a negative effect on the immune system. However, physical causes of illness should also be ruled out.
Feeling trapped can also lead a person to stop taking good care of him/herself, also leading to a depressed immune system.
If debts are getting you down, get some help from a reputable debt management agency (check the better business bureau) and make a plan. You'll feel better all around.

Stress can very often manifest itself in physical symptoms. There is no doubt about that. You'd do well to research stress-reducing techniques, and practical ways to manage your debt.
It sounds like you're at a point where it will do you no good to stress out. Make the best of your situation, and work to improve it. Make "worrying about it" the last thing on your list, though. This will help your symptoms.

Most definetly!! If this is causing you to be depressed, then you probably aren't eating right, not sleeping well, etc. Depression can manifest itself in physical symptoms. It isn't "all in your head" as some uninformed people may suggest. Find a good, reputable credit counseling service and go see your doctor. He may prescribe something to help you get through this "situational depression"
