if its a 1.4 or 1.6 it will either need or has had a head gasket. find out. the timing belts are a weak spot - find out if or when it has been done and with all the pulleys, tensioner and possibly a water pump - every 4 years or 40,000 miles - ignore this at your peril - don`t let any one tell you otherwise or it will cost you! they have been known to burn oil - hard to check on a test drive but just check the level. other than that they are not a bad car.

They're not bad but not the most reliable cars you can buy. Very weak engines, but all Vauxhalls suffer from weak engines. Parts are cheap but you'll need a lot of them.

I relatively have a Fiat Punto from 1994 and it relatively is nonetheless appropriate, with out any difficulty. the mileage is ninety 5,000 kms and so i think of it is not something undesirable for a compact vehicle. right here in Italy Rovers have a undesirable call reason of their electric problems and so i can't advise you to purchase it. The Vauxhall Astra (that's Opel Astra right here, I presume) this is a sturdy german vehicle, regardless of if the layout isn't a masterwork and the vehicle hasn't plenty extra high quality interior than the Punto. to boot, the Astra you will possibly purchase hadn't too plenty upload-ons... besides, on the top i think of that Punto or Astra must be the final determination.
