I dont see why you shouldnt ask. If you really want to marry him that much and you think he feels the same then go for it. In this day and age I dont think old traditions like the man having to propose really matter as much. At the end of the day the situation is specific to you and your partner. Good luck, hope he say yes! x

We're living in the modern ages now, however if you want to stick to tradition a woman can only ask a man to marry her on Feb 29th. I feel the same about my man but I am a traditional girl so I believe in waiting for the man to ask because that way you know for sure a man's ready for commitment, woman do seem to be ready for commitment quicker than men but that doesn't mean he'll say no, rather than take advice from total strangers I think you should follow your heart & do what you feel is right. I wish you all the best for the future & please do let us know how it goes. x

Don't dally girl,do it.
Arrange a special meal for the two of you, whether it be at home or in a restaurant, have a good drink so you are both relaxed and mellow, then when you feel the moment is right, pop the question.
Don't beat around the bush,as you will get yourself in a knot.
Come straight out with it,his answer can only be Yes or No.
Good Luck and best wishes.

Just do it...We're in the 21st century now so if u wanna propose there should be no stopping you.
If you want to do it in private set up a special romantic night for both of you. Soft lighting, candles, romantic music, nice food and get down on one knee.
You could propose in a restaurant, but bear in mind some people react badly when in front of a roomful of strangers and may not enjoy all the attention.
Whatever you do make it special and all the best to both of you.

You recommend the custom of PRETENDING that the guy does the asking? ... i'm previous as dirt and ninety 9% of marriages basically ensue IF and while the female insists on it. You tell him it's time to the two make a dedication or to flow on and initiate off seeing different human beings. many times, they panic and bolt first ... and then think of it over and dad the question. stable success!
