Hinduism worships Rama and Krishna as gods. Both were Human and had birth and death as well. The concept is very clear. We worship them for the great deeds they performed and set themselves apart as people more than Gods.Similarly Hanuman was the true trouble shooter or some one who came to the help of Ram in times of great distress when thinks looked very grim. Hanuman was totally devoted to Ram. Nothing was impossible for him due to his enormous prowess and sharp intellect. Hanuman is blessed with life till the end if time. He is worshipped for his great deeds immense devotion and most selfless being in the entire Ramayana.

Hanuman is not treated as GOD in hinduism. He is son of god Pawan and is worshipped as a god/demi-god/angel.

His deep bhakti of Shri Rama made him respectable. He was also very knowledgable and wise. Once when Sita asked him what is his relation with Rama he Replied

At Body consciousness level I am slave of Rama

At Soul level I am a part of Shri Rama

And at Brahm level...I am myself Shri Rama because at that level there is no second but HIM.

He is a great devotee of Raama,
and so to appreciate his
devotion towards God, people consider
Him as a God. that's general concept.

He is not the incarnation of any God, but
He is a son of Varun Devta ( the Wind God)
and Anjanidevi. so also heriditary he can be
considered as God.
