Right, My ex's boss has asked me out. I'm 23 and my ex is 21. We have been on and off for 3 years. We decided to give it another go and all was wonderful - or so i thought - until 3 days after my birthday he tells me that he doesn't love me and has been using me! Lovely! So as i have been through all the cr*p before with him - i seem to be alot better (although lets face it, anybody telling you they no longer love you is always a kick in the teeth!).
His boss is 30 - owns a very succesful business but of cos he is my ex's boss. Before I meet my ex - people were trying to set me and his boss up.
Now the 'boss' has asked me on a date - half of me wants to go and the other half doesn't. I've been hurt so bad by my ex that i want to get him back - or maybe this 'boss' is the man of my dreams??? Arrrrrr - please help x

Forget about your loser ex and go out with the boss. He may be the man of your dreams!

I would forget the ex no matter how hard it is just always remember what an *** he really was to treat you that way. Then I would accept the date from his boss. You have to move on eventually so why not when there is a successful, hard working man there to do it with. Maybe things will work with the boss. If it happened then imagine how jealous of you the ex will be just seeing you with a man of such success.

Give it a go girl!!

this "boss" guy sounds hot!! :-)

Forget abt yr ex and any ideas that u might have abt taking him back - he is so obviously confused and you cant wait around for the second time when he chooses to grow up and take a mature decision!!

as for the BOSS - just go and have FUN!! try to see him as another guy rather than tag him as your "ex's boss" - trust me - dont judge him on the basis of his boss-ness but just as a guy who's worthy of u!!

You're young, you sound interesting - so just go for it and have lots of FUN!!

It doesnt have to work out everytime - but you shouldnt give up... GOOD LUCK!!

I would go out with him and not even worry about what the ex thinks. It is over, he made his bed and now he can lie in it. He can't tell you not to date his boss. It is a free country. You would be crazy not to go out with him because of an ex. Good luck!

Go with him, you're ex will have a nice kick in the teeth when he find's out from you're boss that you are dating. He shouldn't of used you, therefore why should you not go out with him just because he's your'e ex's boss. Go for it you'll never know unless you try :)

Go out with the boss on a date, see if you like him. If it feels just too weird, just say that you'd rather be friends. If not, sod your ex, he's a prick anyway, and you deserve to find happiness again. One good way of relieving the hurt when you have been used is to use lots of men - using contraception of course - go out and have a damn good time. It made me get over my ex pretty quick after I find out that he was cheating on me.

Well, don't do it to get back at your ex. That's just immature and childish, and will just cause more pain, and make you look stupid.

But if you think the boss might really be a nice guy to go out with, then do it. Just don't do it in plain view of your ex. You don't need to hide it, but just show soome tact and maturity.

As long as you aren't just doing it to get back at your ex, then go for it. But if you're still hung up on the ex, it's going to be difficult to get involved with someone new, especially when that person has such a close connection with the guy!!!

Gurl i say that payback is a motherf**ker and you should make your ex jealous as ever i mean gurl; the boss has a sucessful bissness that mean he got money. But by this opprotunity you get respect from your ex because it shows him that you could replace him with another in a second!

It doesn't sound like you owe your ex anything, so I say go for it. Just don't do it to get at your ex - do it because you fancy the boss.
