does any 1 no where i can download microsoft XL or LX which ever it is?

Are you referring to Microsoft Excel? It's a commercial program and it is illegal to just download it. If you're a student, check with your school's bookstore to see if you can get a discounted "student" version.
Or, better still, check out http://www.openoffice.org
The OpenOffice.org suite is a free open source office suite that's mostly compatible with Microsoft Office files. You'll have to re-learn where some of the commands are, but it's not too bad. The best part is that it's put out there by people who want to give it away for free.

There's Windows XP and I only know of legit places where you can buy the software. Sorry...
