I'm looking in to buying a mastiff. I've looked through all my local shelters and the acc and aspc in other cities aroung my area I don't really want to buy one from a breader I want to rescue one but I guess I'm going to have to buy on does anyone know where I could get on for cheap about 400-700???

Look for a rescue group that specializes in mastiffs. Look using www.petfinder.com
Find local breeders and let them know you would like to adopt an older puppy/young dog. A good breeder will take back an animal if the owner cannot keep it.
One of my dog's breeders (not a mastiff) recently took back a wonderful 4 year old dog with obedience and agility titles. The owner is terminally ill and can't keep the dog. Get to know some quality breeders and you may be surprised at the kind of dog you can adopt.

They are not cheap for a reason. They have a lot of health problems and the parents MUST be screened!!!!!!!! For the price you are looking in...you probably will not find a breeder that has done that.

hey i know where u could maybe find a mastiff go to the website www.norfolk.gov on that web page it has someting that says homepage on it click on it and scroll down until u get to animal control click animal control then at the bottom of the left page it should have something that says petfinder photos or something click that then on that website click adoptable dogs and from there u shuld find what u want and the cost for it should be one hundred forty-five dollars so it's real cheap i used to work at the place they spade them give them shots everything will be included with that adoption fee but if u have anymore questions contact me at mrsbanks0304@yahoo.com i'll answer to my best knowledge.

Did you try looking for a local mastiff rescue. If not, call a vet and see if they know of one.

Have you tried rescue clubs or www.puppyfind.com My horsetrainer had a mastiff and his mother breeds them...they are a cool dog but live short lives. Good luck in your search
