Why can't people recognise a tongue in cheek question when they see one? Crikey - it's as though you enacted a scene from The Exorcist in front of a Sunday church meeting judging by some of the answers. Lighten up a bit, guys! In answer to your question, I believe that Jesus told the apostles that he WAS a virgin, so that they wouldn't wonder what he was doing to the girls behind the temple.
Funny - virgin births were all the rage back then.

I shouldn't imagine that 'Jesus needed to adopt some kind of game-plan' at all.
As for the concepts of either 'cool' or 'street credibility' ~ how would you define 'cool'? and the other?
The term 'Propaganda,' in its original meaning, was 'Information,' and since then it has come to mean 'mis-information.' Likewise, 'cool' used to mean 'calm down,' or 'take it easy,' from the 60's ...from when I first encountered it. So, if it means something different to you now, what exactly are you thinking as to be 'cool,' because it doesn't fit within the context you've framed here.
Finally, > Did Jesus pretend to the apostles that he wasnt a virgin to..... < !!!!
Who said he was one?
Who said he wasn't one?
How in the hell can anyone know the answer......
to such a dumb question as, it is known for certain, that Jesus did NOT at any time give interviews to the Press or allow articles in 'Hello' or any other type of so-called 'Celeb' magazines ....for the simple reason, 'his Press Agent wouldn't allow it' [ because those rags paid so poorly for them back then ].

there is nothing written anywhere which states whether jesus was a virgin, married, unmarried, divorced ar any other condition as regards his person or family. the catholic church decided he had to be celibate when they decided he was divine, and the begotten son of god, which occurred in the early fourth century at the first council of nicea held at the urging of constantine, the roman emperor who claimed to have seen three crosses in the sky, and heard the words, under this sign, conquer. i don't think jesus meant that military action was a justifiable cause for the spreadiing of christianity.

Of course not. Apart from anything else, Jesus didn't need to appear cool.

Jesus is not a pretender and he watches your every move. Stop asking such stupid questions and grow up. Let's see if your still going to have such a big mouth on judgement day. The way it looks to me is that your the one wanting attention.

Oh, Jesus was definately not a virgin. He was a raging homosexual man-whore. Why else would he have known no women or hang around with twelve guys all the time.

Jesus was a virgin. Stop trying to joke around with something that's actually serious.
