Do you think that Britain should lead the next NATO invasion or should we let the Americans take the lead once more?

the best answer... REALLY is to have the American soldiers (for No's and equipment) led by British Military Commanders. we UNFORTUNATELY couldn't lead NATO, as a country.

Assuming you really want an answer to this question:

That's rather broad to just say 'Hey, we'll lead the way next time!' without considering size and scope of the operation. Military campaigns, especially between nations, is suppose to take a lot into account. Is it possible to have a campaign led by the Brits? Absolutely. It's usually a measure of proximity, resources, politics, and goals, not to mention threat and who is threatened.

Well that would be acceptable when the Brits build up there forces to lead such an invasion until then your just back up.

Every modern incursion by the allied forces of UK and USA has been a joint one way back to the first Gulf War, so your question doesn't really make sense mate. We all went in together!
