Ewido (14 day trial but excellent so had to include) - http://www.ewido.net/en/
Antispyware/antiAdware:
Spybot Search and Destroy - http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
Tutorial for spybot: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial43.html

If you think you may be still infected after using the below programs and want an expert to help you for free, you can post a hijackthis log at my forum. Instructions for doing so can be found here:

Hope this helps.

The only free spy-ware you will find is on a trial basis and at that, it wont remove viruses. You might have to bite the bullet and buy an anti-virus with spy-ware. It's expensive, but worth it. Norton is what I use, and it does a good job.

I use Housecall by TrendMicro (http://housecall.trendmicro.com ) . It is a good thorough scan of your computer, but if you want something to proactively protect you completely, you will have to pay for it.

Get Ad-aware and Spybot, update and run both. Use both, one will catch what the other doesn't.
