What would you do if you were in a bad marriage & wanted out..But in the process, your mother is totally against it & is all for your hubby who has lied to her about everything....said ugly things to you last night? She made the remark that "poor kids, they have a sorry mom" she said this just because I want a divorce. So, I asked her what she said just to see if she would take it back but she looked at me & said.."I didn't say anything" , so I proceeded to tell my hubby it was time to go and then she made another comment and I turned around & told her that she could say things to my face instead of under her breath. She then just outright lied & I told her so. Then I proceeded to rebuke her in Jesus's name & she got all bothered & my father go involved and told me to leave from our rental house that happens to be theirs. So, I calmy looked at them & said that I forgave them of what they said and God Bless them. What would you do? (I am going to look for a place this week)

If you are not happy, your kids are not happy. They can sense something is wrong, so the "Those poor kids" comment goes both ways. Sounds like the hubby is trying to put a wedge between you and your family. The truth will come out, just do what you have to and protect your children. Sound like a bad situation to me, and you are making the right move.

Get away from your husband and your parents. No one should be in a bad relationship, plain and simple. Not to mention that your parents obviously haven't a clue as to what has gone on between you and your man. And as for you being a "sorry mom"? Wouldn't it be better for the kids to have a good, loving life with their single mom than a sad life with the dad involved?

My dear, you seem like a straightforward, decent person that needs understanding. What your mom did was horrible, siding with your hubby. You are right to be mad at her, but she is the one who started it and should know how to apologize to you. Take a stand, but don't torture yourself. Usually such things start out big and then diminish with time. Get you own place real quick and then if you like you can visit your folds on weekends if they make you welcome. Otherwise, just stay away for a while.

well... let the court decide... tell your mom to go to hell and take your children and leave her to die alone... worked for me...
