I started with this guy about 3 months ago and he always told me he was a year younger than me and i didnt find that too bad and then I found out his real age which is 15 and I asked him why he would ever lie to me about something dumb like that and he told me it was because he only wanted to be with me and assumed i would not want to be with him if he was 2 years younger than me.

ok look....this can be a touchy thing..but you shouldnt let age get in the way. If you really like him it shouldnt matter. My bf is 18 and i'm 16 and we work out fine. I can understand why he lied because i was dating a 12 year old when i was 15 and he lied to me too. the only reason we broke up was because of distance. I don't think it's wrong at all. Like I said if you like him, then forget his age...and he obviously wants to be with you..take advantage of that :)

It's not wrong to be 17 and dating a 15 year old. It's not as common but it's still possible for the girl to be older than the guy. The question is "Are you worried that if he lied about his age, he may have lied about something else to be with you?". In my opinion, age shouldn't matter. Only the people involved in the relationship should care and not others. Those involved can make their own decisions based on whatever they want including if there is chemistry and if age really matters. Good luck

incorrect... no. you're basically a pedophile if there is intercourse in touch. conform to attend until she is eighteen until now you communicate approximately it, then there will be no difficulty. relatively, if this is your plan, her mom and dad must be satisfied and can in all probability be supportive. incredibly, it is going to likely be generally tension on you to proceed this courting, you will meet a great sort of ladies in college. you have basically been mutually some months so at this element this is a short-run courting in spite of the undeniable fact that it relatively is a consistently courting if that's what you the two % and are keen to artwork for. this is actual for any courting. every person who has been married any length of time can inform you that marriage is the place the genuine artwork starts off. BTW, 2 years once you're 17 and 15 appears like plenty now yet once you're 23 and she or he's 21, the adaptation isn't even properly worth noting and as you become previous that distinction evaporates completely. base line: a college degree is a function of ways undesirable do you % it and in addition, a valuable courting is a function of ways no longer hassle-free you the two are keen to artwork for it.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that age or age difference. But, I'd certainly not do any thing serious until your both 3 or 4 years older. Which actually turns out good, because now you should concentrating on your education (including college).

I don't think there is anything wrong with being 2 years apart! However depending on what state you live in your relationship can be considered statutory rape! In the end as ADULTS 2 years is nothing......but the legal system is nothing to play around with for a crush! And as everyone else said HE ALREADY lied, so be-careful, a relationship is nothing with out honesty and TRUST.

Depends on where you live and what you have done together intimately. It could be illegal and you could be charged.

Girls mature before boys, so either you are less mature than the average seventeen year old girl or he is more mature. The reason for girls often having a preference for older boys has to do with the different rates of physical and newly discovered brain development.

No, it's fine. When I was 15 I dated a 17 year old guy. I can't see any harm in it being the other way around.

No it is not wrong. My man is 3 years younger than I am. It was not right for him to lie to you about his age. It would make me wonder what else he has lied about.

he's a child. men usually, USUALLY have a maturity level about 2 years younger than us, so he's at the maturity level of a 13 year old. maybe you should find a 19 year old, then you two have something to talk about probably.

Hell no when you get older that would be considered a catch BUT when you turn 18 you must be careful if the relationship has progressed to a physical level
