Why do they send loved ones to scientific hospitals instead of letting the all-powerful god heal the sick?

For the same reason they mock evolution for being a "theory" and yet hop right into airplanes which follow the "theory" of aerodynamics :)

A tad hypocritical? Naaaah! A LOT hypocritcal.

Friend, first you have to know why you are asking this question, Science has it's place in this world, Luke in the Bible was a doctor, so now you are not looking at this question correctly, Because there is a diference between Divine Healing & healing, Devine healing is when ALL doctors has given up hope, Then God steps in to heal that person, & healing is also, that God put the law of healing in our body, If you break a arm, The doctors can re-set it, But the law of healing takes several Months for your body to heal, Friend now you want to down grade us if we go to a doctor, first of all Those scientific doctors you are talking about, It was God that gave them that knowledge, for what, to help the sick, But no doctor can heal anyone in the Devine way that I mention, I wonder why, now you want to down grade Christians because we go to a doctor, So the next time you need a doctor, Tell your doctor that you don't need any medicines, Because you believe in evolution, & surely there has to be a monkey somewhere that can evolved to make you well, Did you notice those monkies still out in the Jungle that you want to said we all came from them, Then I see a bunch of them that FORGOT TO EVOLVE

What in the world does evolution have to do with Christians,or anyone else for that matter, going to a doctor or hospital when they are sick? You're reaching a little too far there, don't you think?
God's healing powers are proven in hospitals all over the world. Many Christians, and even people who don't have that kind of faith, have been healed by God,not science, while under a physician's care, either while in the hospital or outside a hospital.Take my daughter, for instance. She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was 4 moths old. She was in the hospital for a total of 2 weeks. The same day her doctors told us her diagnosis, and that she wouldn't live to be 7 years old,is the same day God healed her of Cystic Fibrosis. The doctors couldn't explain her miraculous recovery, and had no choice but to admit that, indeed,God had healed her.God does many of His healings while people are under the care of a physician so that His wonderful healing powers would be seen by not only the family members but by doctors and nurses also. This is God's way of revealing Himself, but people are just too blind to see and accept it.
Christians go to doctors when they are sick, not because of lack of faith in God,but because God gave us the common sense to use medical help when we feel it is needed. And many times, proof of God is found in these facilities. God is the Great Physician, and we go to Him in all our times of need, but going to see a doctor doesn't mean we don't have faith in Him. We believe God uses our situations to reveal Himself to us and to the world. Those who don't believe need to research all the medical miracles that God has performed around the world. If that isn't proof,I don't know what it,because illnesses like cystic fibrosis, cancers, brain tumors, kidney failures, brain aneurisms, etc. don't just go away on their own.

God gave man the knowledge and power to heal, to explore the universe, to figure out what makes a plant grow. He causes knowledge to increase. He also uses whatever He will to accomplish healing. Jesus healed in different ways, sometimes He just spoke it, sometimes He spat on the ground and made mud and spread it on the eyes of a blind man who saw again. I have witnessed miracles of healing, through prayer and through Dr's. God created us for fellowship with Him and with each other, it all works together.

Boy! You seem really, really mad at God.

Because that's not how evolution works, desperado, which you would realize if you thought about it for a moment. People don't evolve; populations do.

Many modern medicines, from antibiotics to flu vaccines, are developed MAINLY due to evolutionary theory. If evolution weren't true, there would be very little reason to visit the doctor.

Yes, they are hypocrites. I think if you're going to spout out about evolution only being a 'theory', you should be forced to live your life without it's benefits - but then, you'd most likely be dead already from your first infection of any kind.

There is an old saying I think comes from the Native Americans:

"Call on God, but steer away from the rocks"

Basically, you can listen to your religion, and pray and stuff. But when you are in danger you are going to take matters in your own hands.

The theory of Evolution is a totally different subject from medical practice.

The Jehovah Witnesses believe that if a person is sick, it is because of sins. Check out the story about the actress Jean Harlow's death. Her husband refused her medical treatment because of his religion and she died because of it.

Hi!

That's a sincere question...

Reasons why we send people to hospitals:

1. The one who is sick also need to have "faith" for himself to receive healing from the Lord:

Mark 5:34 "And he(Jesus) said to her, "Daughter, YOUR FAITH has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease."

If the sick will not believe in God for reasons like "God allowed this to happen to me", it is advisable to take him to the hospital for his own good, instead of letting him die and go to hell earlier for his pride.

2. The faith of the person praying for someone's healing is not enough:

The following lady had FAITH ON BEHALF OF HER DAUGHTER:

Matthew 15:28 -Then Jesus answered her, "O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire." And HER DAUGHTER was healed instantly.

Some people call themselves Christians ONLY BECAUSE THEY ATTEND A CHRISTIAN CHURCH BUT NOT BECAUSE AN PHENOMENON of being BORN-AGAIN happened in their inner spirit body. Such people may attempt to pray for the sick and the sick may not be HEALED.

As a result many are being sent to hospitals.

3. Some people have not REPENTED of their sins and they will not:

Just because I believe in Christ does NOT mean that my loved ones would believe in His capability to heal...therefore we are likely to send them to the hospitals.

If God had commanded us Christians not to take our loved ones to hospitals, many of them would be DEAD by now for some of them REFUSE TO BELIEVE in HIS TERMS AND CONDITIONS...(Even a medical doctor has terms and conditions that the patient has abide by to attain total healing.)

The Hospital is just an ALTERNATIVE TO HEAL THE BODY and not the REAL CAUSE OF THE SICKNESS....SIN!Sickness is a result of sin.

Many people who suffer from cancer have a HISTORY of UNFORGIVENESS! Curses of uncurable diseases may befall one because of sin.

There are Christians out there who know more about the causes of diseases more than doctors...We look foolish but there's Help in the God we believe in...

Recently I prayed for my fiance(female) against CHICKEN POX, and the Lord healed her immediately...her pimples DRIED UP! She did not take any medication...

There is a TRUE GOD out there...seek Him until you find him.

You can e-mail me for more info.

God bless you!

Those two ideas are unrelated.
Why do those who believe in evolution go to hospitals for heart surgery, why don't they just grow a new one.

The Apostle Luke was a physician.
Jesus uses physicians, should not those that follow Him also utilize the skills that God blessed them with?

Not to mention, it's not God's "job" to heal anyone. Plus, disbelieving evolution does not mean you have to disregard EVERY single science.
