it all depends on what you believe personally.

you could be an athiest, and therefore there is no such thing as sin. Likewise, I'm sure other religions have different ideas of what is right and wrong. The Mormons thought (and some still do) that polygamy was great, but now it would be very bad.

if you believe in Catholicism, then technically all sins are forgiveable and it's really between you and God. while unfair, it's possible that Hilter is up there with St Peter at the Pearly Gates. but it's not really your place to judge

regardless of religion, if you do believe in an omniscient and omnipotent God, then you know that he would be able to tell if you were truly sincere or if you were just trying to pull a fast one to avoid eternal damnation. the ideas of a purgatory or a "parole" time for sins committed seems kind of a mortal invention.

Matthew 12:31-32 explains the Unpardonable sin. My information, from an Antioch Orthodox attitude, is that if one is a Baptized and shown Christian who takes Communion; it would be unlikely to devote the unpardonable sin, because of the fact believing (in faith) the triune God practically precludes a individual from unexpectedly denying (and denigrating) the Holy Spirit.

I guess it would depend on whether you are asking for forgiveness from the heart, or thinking that you deserve it. It depends on whether you think you can sin, because you will be forgiven. Consider Moses. At the time, the Israelites received forgiveness of their sins through the sacrifice of the lamb in the temple. Later, Christ represented that lamb, making the practice no longer necessary. Moses was bared from entering the Promise Land as a result of just one sin. The question was whether it was what he did, or that he "assumed" that he would be forgiven, or that because of all the good he did, it wouldn't count? Presuming to know how God will view one sin or another means you are placing yourself on his level. Your goal is to always be striving to live properly and in keeping with the teachings of Christ, based on accurate knowledge. You will make mistakes, but there is a difference between make a mistake and committing willful sin, because you believe you will be forgiven.

ALL sins are forgivable, only ONE is not,Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
Mark 3:22-30 states,
"And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, 'He has Beelzebub,' and, 'By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons.' ...'Assuredly, I [Jesus] say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation;' because they said, 'He has an unclean spirit'" (NKJV, emphasis added / Note: The Pharisees made the same charge in Mat 9:34.).
In Matthew 12:31-32, Jesus says to the Pharisees,
"Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come" (NKJV,

The seven deadly sins are fatal to the individual's spiritual progress. They are:

Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

Frankly I think its a lot of hooey. God made us the way we are for a reason, nothing we do is unforgivable...not even murder.

Hi, to answer your question, only one sin is not forgiven in this life or the next, that is the sin against the Holy Spirit.
what is this unforgivable sin? it means to live in denial of the Salvation won for us by the death and resurrection of Christ and to leave this life in the same denial.
in fact to do this is an admission that Christ was a liar, and that in consequence so to the Holy Spirit.

Yeah depends on the religion I guess. All sins are forgiveable except one: Associating partners with Allah.

Allah is the One, the Almighty, the Ever Just.
