No I wash my hands while I'm in the restroom , the sinks are there in the restroom not outside the restroom

Unless the bathroom is completely filthy, yes. If it's beyond disgusting, I won't, but I carry purell in my purse for exactly that reason.

And it's not enough to just stick your hands under water and call them "washed." You should wash your hands with soap and HOT water. Growing up, I was taught that you should wash with the soap for as long as it takes you to sing your ABC's, to properly kill all the germs.

I also won't touch things in public restrooms if I can help it. I get my paper towel first, turn on the water, wash (with soap), dry my hands, then using the paper towel, I shut the water off and then reach for the door. Once I've gotten the door open, I'll throw the paper towel away.

Yes, ALWAYS with hot water and soap and I spend time being thorough. Problem is, sometimes there are no towels and the hand dryer may not be working, which was the case the other night when I was catching a flight. My hands were still wet after having washed them in the airport washroom where there were no towels and hand dryer not operating. I said to myself as I left the washroom with wet hands, ."good thing I don't have to shake anyone's hand"...except that...when I left the washroom, there was my husband standing there talking to a well known celebrity. My husband then introduced me to him, the celebrity extended his hand..and horror of horrors, I could do nothing but shake his hand. I was so embarrassed to have offered my very damp hand.

to precisely answer your question....NO

I wash and dry my hands BEFORE I exit the restroom......always using soap and then open the door with paper..and if there is only a blower for hands I open the door with my shirt...

Each time I touch cash I remember it has e coli from feces on it.

Walking into a store or restaurant I hate to touch the door handle. Touching a grocery cart can be creepy...every sort of germ is found there.

Antibacterial liquid is available in small bottles to carry with you everywhere.

Absolutely. That's how germs spread. I even try not to touch the door handle as I exit a public restroom.

Yes and if things are too dirty I use my own wipes or antibacterial gel until I can get home. I always wash my hands when we come in from going somewhere. I make my husband wash his hands everyday he comes home from work. I figure he is in a different environment and me and my daughter are home all day and he could possible be carrying a lot of yuck on his hands. I am a bit of a freak when it comes to germs.

I am slightly obsessed with washing and sanitizing my hands. It is a must. Diseases and germs travel from handle to handle, so when I use a public restroom, I use my elbows or a paper towel to open the door.

Depends, if I'm in a rush and won't touch anything other than my stuff for a while, sometimes no. If I have time and/or I went #2, always. I hate when I see people come out of stalls and don't wash their hands because thats really nasty.
